Investment Under CIMB Investment Bank

In response to a query at the 78th Annual General Meeting, the co-operative hereby provides the information on the transactions done on CIMB Securities Trading Account managed by Financial lanner Mr Eric Lim for the financial year ending 30.9.2009.

There were three transactions done during the period 1.10.2008, one was sold and the other two were compulsory take over (TO). The details were as follows:

The above transactions were reported in the Report of the Investment Committee under the disposal of shares.

According to the records, the Co-operative made a realised profit of RM37,720.54 from the overall investment under CIMB Securities Trading Account managed by Mr Eric Lim from July 2006 till January 2010 (last transaction).

    Education Loan Fund


 Applications for the above loan are invited. Members must have at least five years continuous membership to be elligible. If a member is applying on behalf of his child, he must be a member of the Society for at least ten continous years.

 Application forms are available at the office and the closing date is 3 September 2010.

 The  amount of loan advances is subject to the following limits:-

for 1 year course

RM2,500.00

for 4 year course

RM10,000.00

for 2 year course

RM5,000.00

for 5 year course

RM12,500.00

for 3 year course

RM7,500.00

for 6 year course

RM15,000.00


The Education Loan Fund Panel will select recipients each year for this loan and successful candidates will be notified in due course
