NOMINATIONS FOR THE
ELECTION OF
BOARD OF DIRECTORS -
2020/2021
According to Rule No. 64 of the
Koperasi. A member who is qualified to stand for election to a post
shall cause a nomination paper to be submitted to the Foreman of the
Panel of Scrutineers by 12.00 noon on 31 of March of each
year. A member may stand for election to one post only.
The Panel of Scrutineers has decided that even under the outbreak of
the current coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the Movement Control
Order by the Government, the nomination for the election of Board of
Directors for the
year 2020/2021 will still be closed at 12.00 noon on 31 March 2020 as
according to Rule No. 64.
On 13.5.2020 when the office reopened, the Foreman of the Panel of
Scrutineers announced that the following candidates would be contesting
in the election of Board of Directors- 2020/2021 when nomination closed
at 12.00 noon on 31.3.2020.

Directors and the number of
candidates received
was not in excess of the vacant posts available, the 4 candidates
shall be deemed elected unopposed

88th ANNUAL GENERAL
MEETING
The External Auditors Messrs
Norhashimah
& Partner had completed the audit of the Koperasi account for
financial year ending 31 December 2019. The said accounts will be
submitted to Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia for approval. Attached
herewith a copy of the Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss and the
Laporan Berkanun Anggota Lembaga for your information. Those who wish
to view the full set of accounts are requested to go to our Website@www.ptcs.com.my.
According to Suruhanjaya Koperasi
Malaysia, all Koperasi are allowed to
make payment of Dividend to its members upon receiving the approval of
the audited accounts without having to hold the Annual General Meeting.
The 88th Annual General Meeting which is supposed to be held on
28.6.2020 has to be deferred to
a date to be decided later as it is
still not allowed. The SKM is not able to give us any direction as to
when we can hold our Annual General Meeting. However, the date of
holding the 88th Annual General Meeting will be announced as soon as we
obtain approval from Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia.

ANNUAL DINNER
The Annual Dinner which is supposed
to be held on 4 July 2020 will have to be postponed accordingly also
due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The date for the Annual Dinner is usually
one week after the Annual General Meeting. Watch out forfurther
announcementto be made at a later date.

TOURS
All tours announced earlier will have
to be cancelled accordingly.
It is very unlikely for the Koperasi to
make plan for tours in the year 2020.
