MONTHLY BULLETIN July 2005 - For Members Only

Launching The Livin' Care Insurance Scheme
"Skim Cuepacs Dana Restu"

The Society has completed negotiations with Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Berhad on the Cuepacs Dana Restu Livin Care Insurance Scheme. We are now ready to launch the scheme on 1st July, 2005.

The normal group insurance scheme pays claim upon death or confirmed Total Permanent Disability only but Skim Cuepacs Dana Restu has extended its coverage to include 36 Critical Illnesses commonly suffered and Hospitalisation Benefits.

Medical expenses is always costly. It is wise to invest in a savings scheme which also provides protection in the event of any unexpected illnesses or mishaps.

The scheme is compulsory for all new members (age 47 and below) and is optional for existing members below the age of 55. For details on coverage, please refer to the leaflet attached or contact our office for further clarifications.

Great Eastern Life Assurance (M) Berhad has agreed to a special promotion where applicants with pre-existing illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes and etcetera can be accepted so long as they have not participated in any similar auto-acceptance scheme of the Company. However, the applicant has to declare his/her illnesses.

For application of more than the minimum premium of RM44-00 per month, it is up to the Company whether to accept. Should a Medical Examination be required, the Medical Cost shall be borne by the Company.

This scheme is also extended to members spouses and children (below the age of 23).

Should the Society fail to secure the minimum number of participants in this Dana Restu Scheme, the Company reserves to underwrite, ie. the Company can either accept, request for further requirement, reject or accept with conditions.

The Society is planning to launch this scheme on a zone system to be announced at a later date but those who are interested in participating in this scheme can do so now by signing and returning the enclosed form to the office as soon as possible.
