Other Loans & Schemes Available

Besides the RM 25,000.00 surety loan, the following Loans/Schemes are also available from the Co-operative :

a)    CONSUMER PURCHASE SCHEME / TOUR SCHEME
        Maximum of RM 10,000.00 at the interest rate of 5.5% per annum and repayable in the maximum period of  72 months. For purchase of :

i)     Electrical products – L G  / Samsung Brands
ii)    Computer
iii)    Mobile phone
iv)    Tour
v)    Umrah / pilgrimage

b)    EMERGENCY LOAN

Maximum of RM 3,000.00 at the interest rate of 5.5% per annum and repayable
in a maximum period of 48 months for reasons of death/hospitalization or any other emergency reasons accepted by the Co-operative.

c)    TYRE  / BATTERY / REPAIR SCHEME

Maximum of RM 5,000.00 at an interest rate of 5.5% per annum and repayable in a maximum period of 48 months for purposes of changing tyre and battery and also for repair of car. This scheme is available at the BHPCo-operative Service Station at No. 127, Jalan Anson, Penang.

d)    ROAD TAX / INSURANCE SCHEME
 
      Maximum of RM 2,000.00 at an interest rate of 5.5% per annum and repayable in a maximum period of 12 months for purpose of renewing car Road Tax / and also for paying the premium for car Insurance.

e)    FAMILY SPECIAL / BACK TO SCHOOL LOAN

Maximum of RM 2,000.00 at an interest rate of 4.8% per annum repayable in a maximum period of 12 months for any festival and also for purchase of books when schools re-open at the beginning of the year.
