Membership Campaign For the Year 2010 / 2011

    The just concluded membership campaign which started from May 2010 to 30 September 2010 had been a success. A total of 124 new members were recruited during the campaign period. Although this is 76 short of the target of 200, nevertheless our members had responded positively to the call of the Co-operative. The Co-operative takes the opportunity to thank all those members who have helped in the recruitment of these new members.

Your co-operative is now embarking on another membership campaign and this is time for the year 2010/2011. This phase of the membership campaign covers the period beginning 1 October 2010 and ends on 30 September 2011. Today, thee are still 10,000 teachers in the state of Penang who are not members of any co-operative. Therefore, once again we call upon all our members to help recruit these non-members in their respective schools and at the same time enjoy the cash rewards offered by the Co-operative.

For this phase of the membership campaign, the Co-operative have again allocated a sum of RM20,000.00 as cash rewards and incentives and set a target of 200 new members.

The cash reward and incentive are as follows:
    1. RM50.00 cash reward for each new member recruited.
    2. RM50.00 cash incentive for every new member.
    3. RM50.00 exemption of entrance fee for new application.

The introducer or recruiter must sign as proposer in the application form and a newly signed up member must retain his or her membership with the co-operative for a minimum period of one year.

The reward and incentive will be paid upon the first deduction received after the approval of the application.
