The 78th AGM was held on 28 March 2010 at the Auditorium Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang. A total of 1890 members attended the meeting. Also present at the meeting was Puan Rozani Ibrahm, Penolong Pengarah Kanan of Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia, Penang. The highlight  of this year's meeting was the amendment to Rule No.21 (3)  of the Co-operative by-law to enable our retired members to avail themselves of the RM10,000.00 loan.

The Annual Dinner was held on 10 April 2010 at the Eden Seafood, Batu Ferringhi, Penang. A total of 540 members and guests attended the dinner. The Guest of Honour for the night was Penang Deputy Chief Minister 1, YB Tuan Mansor Othman. Also present at the dinner was Tuan Haji Ibraim Mohamad, the patron of our Co-operative and the current Pengarah Pelajaran Pulau Pinang.

For the first time, senior members of the Co-operative who are 75 years and above weer invited to the dinner as guests of honour in appreciation of their suport and contributions to the Co-operative.

Evergreen Mr Khoo Yeoh Gan Hong, at 82 years young, a member since 1954 and a veteran of many general meetings of the Co-operative kept the members it stitches with his humorous account of the antics of members and the individual sytles of various chairmen at past general meetings.

As usual, there were prizes galore. Every member present received a table prize in addition to theopportunities of winning individual prizes. In all, a total of 45 prizes were given out through lucky draws. The grand prize was a motor-cycle.
